George Bosco – Lindenwold School 5
My name is Mr. Bosco, with over 34 years of experience in teaching, I am currently at School 5 and my role is the 5th grade Math Interventionist. I am a motivated and hardworking individual. I enjoy learning new skills and applying them to the classroom while improving myself. I have been part of the Lindenwold community for 25 years. Being named Teacher of the year is quite an honor. Personally, this title shows me I am making a difference beyond academics: Inspiring curiosity, showing peers what thoughtful, reflective teaching looks like, constantly learning and striving to do better, and contributing to a supportive school environment!

Cristina Gonzalez – Lindenwold School 5
My journey in this field started by accident when I was 20. After moving back to Philadelphia from Florida, I took a job as a receptionist for the Executive Director of a non-profit in North Philadelphia. Over the next eight years, I grew with that organization, eventually moving into the Talent Search department to help students build brighter futures.
When budget cuts led to layoffs, I found myself at 28 having to pivot. I spent a few years learning the ropes at a mental health center, but my heart eventually led me back to education. Before moving to New Jersey, I spent six wonderful years at a charter school in Northeast Philadelphia.
Staying in this field has been so rewarding because it allows me to do what I love while still being there for my family. As a mom of three, and having raised two more through marriage over the last 10 years, our hands are definitely full! I am so grateful for this recognition and for the opportunity to keep making an impact.
